3rd Annual Bay Badminton Championships – July 8-10, 2011

  • Bay Badminton is excited to announce their 3rd Annual Bay Badminton Championships to be held July 8-10. 2011.  This will be an exciting event.  Former World Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist, Taufik Hidayat will be attending.   Former World Champion Halim Haryanto Ho will be attending.  2008 USA Olympic teams members Bob Malaythong, Raju Rai and Eva Lee will be attending.  Former #1 from India, Chetand Anand will attending.     TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

    FRIDAY, JULY 8 at 7pm All International Flight Events will start. Check-In 7:00pm.
    SATURDAY, JULY 9 at 8am B, C and D singles and mixed doubles will start and be completed.
    80+/90+/100+ doubles will start and be completed.
    SUNDAY, JULY 10 at 8am B, C and D doubles will start and be completed. Finals for International Draw will start at 1:00pm.

    ** BBC will open at 7:30 am on Saturday, and Sunday for warm-up.  Some courts will also be opened on Friday for out of town guests to warm up.
    **Court warm-ups will be limited to 3 minutes, with a 5-minute default rule strictly enforced.
    **Your cooperation in following warm-up/default times will help us avoid tardiness.
